The re[VERB] line is he-e-ere…

May 5th, 2009

I was a printing fiend from last Thursday ’til Sunday, and am relieved to be ready for this weekend’s sales. Above are the four designs I’ve printed for my 2009 re[VERB] line of wears so far (shout-outs to my Dad and Meredith for tons of help!).

I can’t quite remember why it was that I started obsessing about words beginning with “re-” a few months ago. Maybe it’s because I say that I’ll try anything twice. Maybe it’s because I like to fancy myself a little green. Maybe I’m just a word geek (I did a bunch of research with my Official Scrabble Dictionary, yo!). Whatever the case, I wanted to use everyday “re-” words but put a bit of a twist of what they mean.

There are a few more word and illustration pairings up my sleeve, which I aim to have out in the next couple of months — but suggestions (and feedback too) are always welcome!

In the meantime, have a scroll through some pics from an impromptu photoshoot John did for me, where some wonderful friends came out and did some outstanding modelling:

I played the part of pizza-doler-outer, and also provided light and wind for some shots:

More photoshoot shots here.
While I’m at it, if you’d like to join my facebook group, please click here.

I’ve begun listing some of these to my etsy shop — woohoo!
Like I said in my last post, You’re as excited as me, right?!
